An IVF cycle can be an emotional tumultuous roller coaster ride. Feelings of uncertainty and loss of control can creep in, after we have had our many appointments and undergone biomedical exams. These feelings have a link to increased stress, distress and impact our well-being.

What is womb massage?
This therapy offers a gentle stretch of the womb to allow the ovarian artery to bring in more oxygenated blood to the uterus, ovaries and fallopian tubes. This important artery runs through the psoas muscle and crosses from the kidney's ureter (Wright & Burns, 2020). Stretching the psoas muscle is an important component of this therapy.
A closer look at Parkinson's disease & how acupuncture may benefit those suffering.
Parkinson's disease is a multi-system disorder with current research suggesting the cause is from the loss of dopamine neurons in the brain and a build up of Lewy bodies exist in the cytoplasm (Cheng, F.K. 2017). The motor system is affected with the major symptoms including resting tremors, muscle rigidity and bradykinesia (Cheng, F.K. 2017).
Correcting breech presentation
In 95% of full term pregnancies the baby will be in optimal foetal position. Between 29 to 32 weeks, approximately 15% of all babies will be in breech or transverse position. Only 3 to 4% will remain in that position until labour. Many babies will turn on their own however, the longer they are in breech position the less likely they will turn on their own volition.
